2022 Elsa’s Touch Recap and 2023 Goals

Dear friends and family,

I hope this blog post finds you well. I wanted to share some exciting news about the year 2022 for Elsa’s Touch, a program that is close to our hearts.

Last year was a remarkable year for Elsa’s Touch as we continued our mission to make a difference in the lives of those affected by brain cancer. We kicked off the year by launching the Elsa’s Touch program, which focuses on providing support to students pursuing a career in neuroscience and neuro-oncology.

One of the highlights of 2022 was our sponsorship of eight students to attend the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) Conference, a premier event in the field of neuro-oncology. These students were given the opportunity to learn from leading experts, engage in scientific discussions, and network with fellow researchers and clinicians. We are thrilled to have been able to support the next generation of neuro-oncology professionals through this initiative.

In addition to our academic endeavors, we also hosted an amazing event at Muldoon’s, a local venue known for its live music and vibrant atmosphere. The event was a roaring success, with friends and supporters of Elsa’s Touch coming together to celebrate and raise funds for brain cancer research. It was heartwarming to see the community’s unwavering support for our cause, and we are incredibly grateful for their generosity.

None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the dedication and support of our incredible team of volunteers, donors, and partners. Your unwavering commitment to our cause has been truly inspiring, and we are deeply grateful for your continued support.

As we look ahead to the future, we are filled with hope and determination to make an even greater impact in the fight against brain cancer. We will continue to raise awareness, fund research, and support students pursuing careers in neuroscience and neuro-oncology through Elsa’s Touch. This year we plan to send another batch of Elsa’s Scholars to the SNO conference and host more community fundraising events. In addition, we have several projects in the works that we hope to unveil in the coming months.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by brain cancer.

With Gratitude,

The Jatwani Boys
